I had googled that it is the least crowded week of the year in the parks. I saw a crazy last-minute Allegiant flight deal. The hotel was also cheap, and I just went for it.
I’m so glad I did. For at least 48 hours, we got to cherish eachother’s friendship without any distractions. I will remember it forever.
Anyway I suppose this week, my Monday motivation nugget is this: book the trip. Throw the party, Start the business. Shoot the shot.
If you’ve been on the fence about a decision that feels too self-indulgent or risky or unnecessary, error on the side of action.
I got a heck of a deal on the flight/hotel/park tickets (grand total coming in around $900!!!)
I probably could have saved that $900 for the future.
But also…the future for what exactly?
I will never regret splurging on quality time.
So if you’ve got a wild hair this week, maybe try following it and just see what happens.
At the end of their lives, people tend to regret the things they didn’t do rather than things they tried and failed at. At least they tried. At least they LIVED.
See you next week!
Teary-eyed and grateful,

"I don't regret the things I've done, I regret the things I didn't do when I had the chance."
After hitting rock bottom, I've embarked on a radical journey. For one year, I'm taking a break from all cynicsm and trying out some crazy self-improvement experiments (so you don't have to.)
