YOU GUYS! WE DID IT. WE DID WINTER. WE STAYED ALIVE WHILE COVERED IN THE CLOAK OF DARKNESS. The second daylight saving ends, I feel like we should collectively CELEBRATE. Now it's time to de-hibernate. Here are 3 quick ways.
1. Declutter Your Mental Space Spring cleaning isn’t just for closets — your mind needs it too. Do a quick brain dump of everything swirling in your head. Get it all down on paper, then highlight the top 3 things you actually need to focus on. Let the rest go (for now).
2. Let the Sunlight In Now that the days are longer, make a point to soak up more sunlight. Sunlight boosts serotonin levels, which improves mood and helps you feel calmer and more focused. Open the windows, take your morning coffee outside, or sit near a sunny spot while you work. Let the light in and feel the shift.
3. "Plant" a New Project Spring is all about growth — so why not “plant” a new project? Whether it’s finally starting that creative idea you’ve been sitting on or mapping out a new goal, now’s the perfect time to lay the groundwork. Keep it simple and let it grow.
Spring is a reset. A time to shake off the old and lean into fresh, new energy. What’s one way you’re welcoming the spring mindset this week? Hit reply and let me know — I’d love to hear!
xoxo, Katie Day

She wanted "BALLERINA PINK".
We spent so much time inside working on the "great room rearrange", that I panicked and made everyone go on a hike so that we could do something that felt truly "spring breaky". Does anyone else start to panic that they're doing breaks "wrong" if there aren't a few epic-feeling adventures? Is it just an enneagram seven thing? Report back.
After hitting rock bottom, I've embarked on a radical journey. For one year, I'm taking a break from all cynicsm and trying out some crazy self-improvement experiments (so you don't have to.)
